Jack Skellington Cupcakes-The Nightmare Before Christmas!!

Oh my goodness!! My favorite Holiday movie of all time, & now I can make little Jack cupcakes. I found this recipe from http://family.go.com and they were made by Cindy Littlefield. All you need is chocolate cupcake batter, butter cream frosting or vanilla frosting, toothpicks, & a bottle of black decorating icing. After frosting the cupcakes, use the toothpick to sketch an outline of Jack's two large eyes in the white frosting. Pipe the the black icing onto the sketched lines & fill in the circles. Pipe two little lines for his nose, and pipe a long line across the bottom of the cupcake for his mouth and finally just pipe little short lines across the mouth to complete it. These would be perfect for all fans of Tim Burton's The Nightmare before Christmas!

Buried Skeleton Cupcakes

By far my favorite Halloween find. I stumbled across these buried little souls by accident, but so thrilled I did. I found them on http://news.holidash.com/2010/10/05/halloween-skeleton-cupcakes-kendra-smoot/ They look like they might be difficult to make, but is actually pretty simple, which makes it my favorite. Just use your favorite cupcake mix, and lather on dark chocolate frosting. Place the cut up pieces of stretchy skeleton (or you use edible candy skeleton pieces) on top of the frosting. For the dirt look, just crush up some oreos (without the middle creme) and sprinkle them on top of the frosted cupcakes. You can play around with them & see which looks you like best. Bring these to any Halloween party and they will guarantee to be a hauntingly hit!!

Halloween Brain Cupcakes!!

I found these creepy little brains on http://recipes.kaboose.com They would be perfect for the skull cupcake holders! Just use your basic cupcake recipe (and I would recommend dolloping a little strawberry jam in the center of each cupcake before baking) and what they did on Kaboose was pipe vanilla frosting on top to look like a brain. You can dip a toothpick in red food coloring and draw little lines in the frosting to make it look more brain like! I can't wait to try these out!!

Shine those Hollywood Lights on Pink Lemonade Cupakes

Its still summer, and when its a 110 degrees outside sometimes all you want is a nice cold glass of pink lemonade. So I found the perfect soultion for a cupcake. I found this recipe in the Cake Mix Magic book I bought at my local Walmart. This one is by far the favorite cupcake I make and I've already started receiving orders for them.

Start with a preheated oven of 350 degrees

Just simply add the following in a mixing bowl & mix together until blended well
A box of white cake mix without the pudding in the mix
2 tablespoons of oil
3 egg whites
1 cup of water
1/3 cup of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
4-6 drops of pink food coloring

Fill cupcake pan evenly with batter

Cook time 18-22 minutes ( I always check them about around 15 min) You'll know they're down when toothpick comes out clean. Let them cool off in pan on baking rack about ten minutes then cool completely before frosting. You can add lemondrop candies, orange wedge candies, and cut straws to garnish

To make frosting: Add following in mixing bowl and blend well
4 cups of powdered sugar
1/4 cup of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup of butter
1-2 drops of pink food coloring (or more for the pinker you want)
